If you have responses from the DAT in a spreadsheet, such as after running a creativity study, you can upload the spreadsheet to have it automatically analysed.

  1. Ensure your spreadsheet has an all-lowercase header and exactly 11 columns (see sample):
  2. Save your spreadsheet as a TSV (tab-separated values) file:
  3. Upload your file and you will immediately get a spreadsheet with a new dat column.

Ensure the spreadsheet has under 10,000 rows and does not exceed 10 MB. (If you have too many rows, break it into several spreadsheet files.)

No files are saved on the server, but avoid including identifiable information (such as participant names) in the spreadsheet.
